Like almost every other small business on the Web, we contract with safe, third party vendors for web hosting, credit card processing and shipping services. Payment information is not kept by us on our site or our credit card processor without your explicit permission.

SHIPPING POLICY

We ship via US Postal Service to the US. We can ship to anywhere in the world that has postal service but we need to research costs first, so please request a quote using the Contact Us form. Standard shipping is USPS Priority Mail. Express shipping is USPS Priority Express Mail. Shipping is calculated in your cart based on the products you have chosen. You will receive an email with your tracking number when your order ships. We ship within 2-3 business days of your order unless you choose Express. Express orders are shipped same day if the order is received before 3:00 pm EST.

If a package is returned because of an incorrect or undeliverable address, you are responsible for paying shipping again to resend it. If you decide not to do that and cancel the order, we will give you back the cost of the order minus shipping.

We cannot be responsible for any package that is lost by the USPS. Please follow up with them using the tracking number provided in our shipping confirmation email.

RETURN POLICY

Contact us by email at inks@anderillium.com or using the Contact Us form on this website. We will accept any product which is returned to us unopened and unused and refund the price of the product. No shipping charges will be refunded.

GUARANTEE

We want you to be very happy with your ink. However, we cannot accept any bottle which has been opened. If your package arrives damaged in any way, please send us photos and dispose of the damaged package and we will send you a replacement or a refund. DO NOT return a broken or opened bottle.

CHANGES IN INK OVER TIME

All fountain pen inks are made from various dyes that have differing levels of light fastness (how much they fade when exposed to light). We utilize the most light fast formulations we can, but as with any ink, some fading or color changes can occur when exposed to high amounts of UV light. Store bottles out of direct sunlight for the best results.

Inks are, like all liquid products, susceptible to bacterial and fungal contamination over time. They are typically stored at room temperature and exposed to microbes from the air and from our pens, which provides ideal environment for microbial growth. To minimize the occurrence of microbial growth we use high-quality, industry standard anti-fungal and anti-bacterial agents. We keep test bottles from every batch that we make and test them for fungal or bacterial contamination at time intervals up to five years after manufacture. All of our formulations pass our rigorous internal testing and quality control measures.

DISCLAIMERS

While our inks are pH neutral, we do not guarantee our inks in every pen. If you have a pen that is expensive or holds especial sentimental value, we recommend you only use inks that are approved by the manufacturer. This is especially true for vintage pens with natural rubber parts.

Our inks are water soluble, will stain organic materials like your skin or paper but not permanently and will not stain non-organic materials such as stainless steel, glass or tile. Some dyes are more permanent than others. Spills are easy to clean with soap and water. However, if the spill surface is very porous, it may be difficult to clean. We recommend you fill your pen carefully on an appropriate surface.
